New Funding Scheme for Infrastructure

As part of a pilot initiative running until the end of 2025, the German Research Foundation (DFG), in coordination with the Joint Science Conference (GWK), is offering additional funding opportunities within the Research Equipment Program under Article 91b of the Basic Law. The aim is to renew or upgrade existing large-scale research equipment for extended use in research. Within this framework, proposals may also be submitted for equipment renewals where the investment costs fall below the usual threshold values of the large-scale research equipment program.

Integration of the Brain Imaging Center in Go4Tec

The Brain Imaging Center (BIC) of the Goethe UNiversity Frankfurt has been estabilshed as Goethe Competence Center (GCC) and integrated in Go4Tec. The web presence will be updated in due time. We are happy to welcome BIC as a regular GCC.

1st Go4Tec Lecture

We were delighted to have Dr. J. Kreutzer, a Chief Editor of Nature Communications (Section: Bio- and Organic Chemistry), Kicking off off the general Go4Tec lecture series with a talk entitled "Publishing with Nature Portfolio Journals".

He gave an enspiring talk on a topic of interest to a wide range of scientists, from senior to early career.
